Giulia Nardiello was raised in Coquitlam, BC and is currently studying the Culinary Arts program at Vancouver Community College. Growing up in an Italian family and having always been close to her parents as they forged lifelong careers in the culinary industry has played a significant role in shaping her life-long aspirations.
From a very young age, Giulia had a passion for food and has always enjoyed the sense of fulfillment achieved by satisfying appetites with her creative dishes. She is continuously motivated to learn how to improve her skills, to strive for perfection, and to relish the creative aspect of the culinary arts, all while a positive and keen attitude towards working collectively as a team.
Opportunities at such fine dining establishments such as La Terrazza Restaurant and Lounge, and The Fairmont Pacific Rim played a tremendous role in preparing Giulia to work in an intense and exhilarating team environment, representing Team Canada in the Culinary Olympics. She looks forward with great anticipation to arriving in Germany, working hard, and taking away invaluable experience that will aid her in her goal to one-day becoming a culinary professional.
