The Junior National Culinary Team is made up and supported by some truly gifted culinarians, mostly based out of Vancouver. While being situated on the west coast, the team get to play with flavours and product not typically seen throughout the rest of the country.
Being mentored by John-Carlo (JC) Felicella, a chef with a pretty good idea of what it takes to be successful at competitions, is giving the Junior Team an education that one couldn't get while anywhere else. With JC at the helm, and Tobias MacDonald as his right hand man, the team is heading into a promising next 18 months while they practise for the Culinary Olympics.

Recently returning from a second place showing in Dublin, Ireland, while competing as a senior team against very talented national teams from around the world, has given the entire team what is possibly takes to come out on top. In Dublin, the team got a silver in the cold program and a gold in the hot program.
While the team trains and practises for the upcoming IKA Olympics, they are constantly pushing their pallet and repertoire, by doing individual competitions and constant fundraisers and functions to better themselves at producing under pressure.
The entire team, core and support, are entirely grateful for all the support that they receive from the CCFCC, their families and their communities.
