Korea Experience

Junior Culinary Team Canada recently traveled to compete in the 35th WACS Congress held in Daejeon, Korea April 30th – May 5th, 2012.  The Junior Culinary Team Competed in the "Restaurant of Provinces" category while team coach Tobias MacDonald competed in the Global Chefs Challenge.  Both did well in competition receiving gold in each category.  The Junior Team placed 2nd overall and Tobias placed 3rd overall.

Below are a few comments from the team and support members on the experience.

What an eye opening experience to see how much we accomplished in just 10 days. I now have a new found respect for what it takes to compete in such events. The team is very fortunate to have the knowledge and experience that comes from their team manager, coach and support members. – Kamal Bachana, Support Member
